My favourite Christmas Cocktail is Mulled Wine with an extra shot of brandy to make an extra-special Winter Warmer
November 7th, 2010 at 9:04 pm #My favourite Christmas drink is Rachel Allen’s glühwein, it’s the best mulled wine recipe I’ve ever come across and I make several batches every Christmas.

November 7th, 2010 at 9:05 pm #I go for something warm – heat a glass, add 1/3 boiled water, 1/3 orange cordial or Club orange, a shot to a shot and a half of Captain Morgan (none of your dark rum here) and a splash of lime to top it off. Not sure what to call it, but it smells and tastes great – nice, slow, warm cocktail.
November 7th, 2010 at 9:44 pm #Same as Ken. I would like to win but don’t actually drink cocktails and have never made one. Which leaves me either copying and pasting or fessing up

November 8th, 2010 at 9:19 am #gluhwein without a doubt. It just smells like Christmas. We went to the Christmas market in Munich last year. With tempatures of -10c, This helped keep us warm!
November 8th, 2010 at 10:51 am #I love anything prosecco based around Christmas but especially Jamie Oliver’s Christmas in a glass! Take some tangerines or mandarins, cut them in half and juice them. Sieve and add mint leaves. Chill, then serve on Christmas morning topped with prosecco.
November 8th, 2010 at 2:30 pm #Sangria, served with an extra dash of cinnamon is a lovely warming and refreshing beverage for Christmas Cocktails. Salud!
November 8th, 2010 at 6:24 pm #Hmmm, Baileys with some creme de cacao and dark chocolate curls on top. Rich and delicious!
November 8th, 2010 at 9:13 pm #Baileys with ice, definitely!!
November 9th, 2010 at 8:23 am #Quite possibly not a cocktail, but I would have to say a hot whiskey with lemon and cloves and a smidgen of sugar just to take away the slight bitterness!
November 9th, 2010 at 2:27 pm #Barking Spider.
